This chapter feels a bit too long.
I didn't pay attention to the previous ones, but the competition rules recommend that chapters be between 1,000 and 1,500 words. This chapter seems to contain the length of two chapters. I'm not a judge, of course, but I just wanted to give you a heads-up in case you weren't aware.
