Being a Faint Star sounds like a lonely existence.😢 This 'Jun' like person must've been a pretty important person for her to become a World Breaker.

Usually, the matchmaker falls in love with the person they help, but it looks like the opposite happened. (Perhaps that could still happen. I don't know for sure.) I hope Jun will make the right choice when the opportunity presents itself. I know that he wouldn't be the type to intentionally hurt Mia, but it still makes me nervous. 😅

I'll admit that actually is somewhat a convenient detail. 😂 The only thing I can really say to excuse it, was that she thought being able to jump good (Samurai Jack hehe) wasn't enough to be on the female team.

I wanted Kenta to have a particularly special connection to Yamashita, but the chapter was already getting sort of long, so the best I could do was to have him refer to him by first name.

Don't worry, it was just a minor sprain. It causes some difficulty walking, but other than that, Hayato should be fine with a few weeks rest. 👍

I suppose you're right about consulting sports writers on discord. I'll be honest tho. Discord chats can be really intimidating for me. 😅 I guess sooner or later I need to get better about that sort of stuff.

Yeah, Shun tends to be very aggressive when it comes to romance. Kyoko can be worse depending on the situation, but that's a story to be told in the next couple of chapters. 🤭

I thought about all the anime that inspired some good themed cafés and tried my best to try to replicate the experience. I'm glad that there are readers that actually liked the café idea.😆

And yes, Fumiko sometimes overworks herself. Part of her and Kenta's journey is for Fumiko to learn to moderate herself a bit.

I've definitely been hit by a good few volleyballs and basketballs in my time. 😂 I love watching the game of basketball, but my supreme lack of coordination makes me being a peak athlete very difficult. The one thing I have going for me is that I'm pretty fast.

I had a gag with Fumiko planned with the original plan I had for this game, but I don't I'll be able to do it now, because it would require Kenta's team to need to make an emergency substitution.

Out of curiosity, did the narrative fast forward for the practice game read okay? This is my first time actually writing a plot revolving around basketball, and I can't tell if I'm showing as much as I should. And of course, I want to write the games in a way where non-basketball knowers or fans can appreciate them.

Honestly, a lot of the original character details and world building would've been fun to see a little more in-depth. Well, I guess there's word count per chapter and time to consider for the contest.

But yeah, I hear ya. But instead of bamboo, I have the numerous trees planted around the apartment complex I live in. It feels like living in a mini park. I always feel so serene after going for a walk.😁
