Yeah, I've been trying to eventually get back to Kenta's previous friendship for quite a bit, try to resolve a remaining loose end. The final resolution should come fairly soon actually. (I won't mention exact numbers though, because the story seems to have a life of its own now.)

You know, now that you've commented on it, that reminds me of all the conflicting romantic advice I've read about in the past. 🤔 Aside from the obvious bias, people will have their own motivations and boundaries when it comes to relationships. Honestly, it seems learning through trial and error feels like the best way to learn about romance.

In all fairness, there are a few that don't care for Fumiko after the one-dates are all over and done with. 😉 But yeah, if I had more time, I'd also show the less successful one-daters, but I wanted to keep this as wholesome as possible.

Ideally, a writer shouldn't need to stay up late to finish a chapter, but sometimes the schedule demands it. As long as it's the exception and not the norm, I'd say it's alright. (I say this after staying up late to finish this last chapter. lol)

Also, I promise this is the last past one-dater revealed in the story, haha. I had the Shun reveal planned for quite a bit, so I felt I still had to do it. 😅

I like how calm Takashi is around Nao.😁 I feel they can be very good for each other, but I think that goes without saying.

In the past two chapters, I ended up searching two terms in particular. 'Mister' and 'bye'. Maybe these are basic terms, but it shows that you put a lot of effort into how you depict the sport of football. As someone whose more of a basketball fan, I actually appreciate the effort, from one sports fan to another.

Oh, I'm liking how the relationship between the class rep and Akari is developing! 😆 You've executed pretty well on the gap moe of your non-threatening gangster protagonist. I would've been laughing with Ayano as well.

I also noticed a few minor typos.

'Anayo watched in horror as the disheveled gangster was dragged past her' and 'Anayo stared at the slowly closing door' should be Ayano correct?

'She Ayano contemplated Akari's true nature in her head' also has an unnecessary second noun with the word 'She'.

The food descriptions for the most part were mostly informed by anituber videos where they go to themed cafés. One of the common complaints seems to be that the quality of the food is variable.

Ryuuji as a character admittedly came off the cuff. I didn't originally write a plan for his character, but I thought the world building could benefit from showing a 'one-dater' from Fumiko's past that had a positive opinion of her. The potential dry-humor I can create from his character could be pretty fun, honestly. 😁

But yeah, I remember the audience I'm supposed to be writing for in the future, and then it registers that I'm a guy in my 20s writing about teenage romance. 😆 Well, I'm taking care of myself fairly well, so hopefully I won't start feeling old until way later. lol
