Awwww, so sweet! He finally spoke! He's so cute! I wonder what stopped him from speaking before though? Was there a spell broken by her love? Or was he just shy?
Anyway, I really liked this story! ❤️❤️❤️

I know this was for the short challenge for the month, and you did great for that, but I would really like it if you rewrite this as a proper, longer novel (even if it's short), in which you include the background, history, etc and their feelings develop a little more gradually, plus a couple more threats and deleflections, maybe trouble and jealousy at school, etc. The story would get to flow more smoothly without abruptly going forward, and it would be a masterpiece! Even as is, it's a 9/10 for me! ❤️ Loved it! It was a pleasure reading!

I'm enjoying reading this a lot!

The only objection I have is that the background isn't very clear; if it was her garage, how come there was a magical object there unknown to her? A little explanation would have been nice. Also, how does she know immediately that she HAS to keep the gem on his forehead? And maybe the first day should have been chaotic enough for her to say that line the next day – 'can't we have one day without magical chaos...' Just little nitpicks... but I think that would improve ease of reading and understanding the situation better.

About the finale piano piece, I had this amazing imaginary music in my head while writing it, and I can't think of a real piece that matches what I was going for. If I think of one, I'll tell you! For the scene in the Fallen Garden, though, I felt that Yiruma's 'Fairytale' captured the feeling I intended – not only the piece, but the feeling of the Fallen Garden itself. Interesting since you said this story was like a fairytale 💓. That said, ever since you suggested the Inochi no Namae theme, I can't get it out of my head💗, and I think that's the one after all... gosh, I love piano too much💘🎹

Also, you're totally right! – and as I wrote to Mario below (and in my comment note at the very bottom), I'm very dissatisfied with how I rushed the ending, but it was the only way I could finish within the contest limits. 💦 It was meant to be a longer chapter, but I just had to put everything in there to end it fast. I intend to rewrite the ending after the judging process is over, so that it gets the breathing room you mentioned and the story can end with the same smoothness and polish and space as the rest of it. ❤️‍🩹
