I wanted to thank you for reading. In this world, magic exists, but it only returned in the time between the two world wars. Everyone knows about it, but only few can actually use it. The use of magic is controlled and regulated. Raven comes from a magical family, but did not show that she was able to control it until now. She doesn't quite understand it. I actually wrote a whole background to magic in this world.
