Satoru comes across a little childish. That is ok though because it works for him as a character. I feel a little for him. I understand that he is a man of principles. He has is beliefs and he can’t betray them. This is compounded by him having the impossible love. He is in a way living through his own version of West Side Story or Romeo and Juliette. I read this story now, all I see is the tragedy in the end. I don’t think there will be a happy ever after. 😭
