This was a nice chapter. I like how Minerva was able to get her concerns known without being too direct. We learned of a hidden love. I wonder if it will come into the open by the end. We will see. One thing I like about your stories is your ability to foreshadow. You drop little hints about the future, it makes me look for them as I read. Sometimes I am right about, but sometimes you go a completely different direction. We now have three characters that have come together with a common desire to start over and make a new life. For some reason it made me think of Miyami in your other story. ❤️

I liked you use of the memory transfer. Much different than I did in my stories. But you dealt also with the moral implications of the procedure. I like that. I really like the way you explained it to us without it filling like you were giving us history. You made it seem natural.

That is a fair question. I pictured the world as dark, misty, and swamp like. The way animators often draw the witch’s forest. So, I would probably do similar to what Ina did, but I would have been more afraid and weary about who I met. Especially drop dead gorgeous guy living in a dark forest. 😀😀😀

First. Thank you for the kind words. You are making me blush a little. I am glad that you can take inspiration from my work. Mara has been a big inspiration to me too. We create stories in a similar way. When I commented on your work, it was never meant to criticize or hurt. I am glad that you didn’t take it that way. I usually comment what I am thinking as I read. Celphi was a strong and well developed character. From that standpoint he was a good character and I liked him as that. But he came across to me as someone I didn’t like, based on his actions and choice of words. Those are two separate things. Overall, your character creation was good for this story. In the next weeks after I am caught up with my reading backlog. I will reread your story and give it a proper review.
