I am enjoying the dear diary aspect. I think your idea with the social media is nice too. That would be an interesting experiment. Moon is right. the introduction of the drawing is adrupt, but it makes the character real. I know that she is rambling about things we do not understand yet, but that is ok. Diaries should be like that. It adds to her character. We, the reader get, an intimate insight into who she is.
