I understand why Nina has a hard time accepting why someone could be interested in her. But I wonder about Mel. She doesn’t like fake people. She has had bad relationships in the past and is scared of that, but being afraid of relationship, is different than being honest with yourself about your feelings. Why does she struggle with this. I am just trying to know her more. What made her stop painting the landscape to making abstracts? Is it just the money? She likes the money, but she is not happier for it. Oh and I remember having to pick my father up from bars like that and dragging him home. By the way, you don’t have to answer my questions. I just like to think outloud sometimes. loving the story.
