My stories trend the future: maybe not right now.

I get the Blue Lock vibes for some reason, not that this is like it, just the vibes of institutional survival. Lol, but, ye, Yakuza child protection for sure. 😆
Yanno getting followed home by a creepy smiley popo isn't reassuring to personal safety. Poor Fukei. Can understand his cranky outlook on his life.
Thanks Kaze for the story. The premise is unique, leaning into Gothic Horror with Doll House terror. The horror atmosphere is strong. The visceral detailing was peak. I found, because the MC was mostly reactive to his situation, I somehow couldn't immerse myself into his psychological rationaling at each step. I didn't get that mind-bending guessing game that left me questioning to know more. The psychology was there, don't get me wrong, but because the physical and atmospheric horror was stronger, I felt the MC's voice was stifled. Overall, top efforts. Congrats.
Mother: here dear, have a meat pie...😆
I got a Verso Clair Obscur Expedition 33 vibe from this chapter for some reason.
lmao, Taylor did a Charging Bull rush to push both of them straight out the windows. 😆
lol, poor dude was surrounded by mad butchers all along. I wouldn't be surprised if his "inner circle" had placed a hex on him for tormenting.
It's like Sweeney Todd reincarnated as a hairball to torment a new victim. If MC sees a meat pie, run the other way. 😆
Fucking brilliant!!!!
Damn Amano's grin was freaky 🫣
It's all starting to come out.
Oh shit. Well... now this gets me questioning... stuff.
Aah, it's like a desire demon whispering manipulation into his ear so he forgets his questioning, especially when he gets too close to a truth. This chapter also gave me a Truman Show vibe too.
I like the back-and-forth rationalizing. How he's starting to question his own sanity very gradually with the small but obvious triggers. Good stuff again.
Ooh. A like the contrast of the date moment with his thinking. Rationally he knows the chance of winning the plushy with his level of skill and coin is a stab in the dark, but to actually win, this leaves me with questions. Good stuff.
