I didn't expect Nimlal to be so open, but the more she explained, the more I got the feeling that she and Zagin are actually a lot alike, aren't they? Also, if she had a dream about the Selection that essentially saved her, doesn't that imply she's favored by the gods herself? 🤔

Anyway, another great chapter! The herbalist elements, the realistic descriptions of poisons, plants, and stuff gave me serious Apothecary Diaries vibes :3

The suspense was incredible and it was so cool how Zagin noticed the detail with the papyrus scrolls, connecting the dots and realizing they must be the missing records
