Amazing fight.
The sheer desperation of it, Hale trapped and powerless, Koori arriving like a furious guardian, had me holding my breath.
Koori has grown. The way she fights and the control, shows how far she's come.
Purimura remains the perfect antagonist, calculating and relentless, and still one step ahead. Her exit, forced by the arriving firefighters, doesn't feel like a victory, just a temporary retreat. The stakes are higher than ever.
And the marks glowing together through the steam? What an image. They're bruised and battered, but they're still a team.
I am desperate to know what happens next, with the authorities arriving, their cover blown, and Purimura still out there. This story is a rollercoaster, and I'm all in.
