And it makes sense that Marlene was so traumatized by the child. You touch sticky slimy things all day, the last thing you want is for them to touch back on your smoke break!

Man it’s so hard to tell what Kaoru’s stance is here. On one side it appears he is being protective of his naive companion. But then on the other he appears to be possessive and wanting to control him.

The tension in this chapter was fantastic. It was nail biting to see them fighting and so frustrating as well. I have no idea how this will resolve! I do fear for the safety of Yuame!

What an intriguing chapter. There is quite a bit going on here and I can’t help but wonder what Kaoru’s game is here. He was so determined to go and explore at this point that it makes me wonder if this was all planned. Is this one of his marks? Is he trying to use Yuame in this moment for something?

Very curious where this is going and whether this courtesan is a part of a larger scheme to remain longer. We shall see!

I’m glad we got to see the amazing performance that the troupe put on but it’s definitely a shame that it seems our protagonists will not be continuing on with them! But their own journey must continue!

I think you did a great job later in the chapter with the conversation between the group. It was full of carefully placed details and euphemisms which really added to the performative nature of the present characters. Bravo with that! Very interested to see where this goes and whether or not the spectre in the mist will become something.

Such a perfect confession!!! I loved it and I think you’ve done a great job since the beginning foreshadowing all of this. The fact that it was done in a way that compliments both of their personalities was so special and really made the moment amazing. Great job!

Now I just want to see Shiori and Yanagi figure it out! Id be sad if they don’t by the end but also it would make sense. There’s a lot of tensions and past there.

Yay I’m so excited that Yanagi got to see Izumis room! She can finally recognize that she’s not alone and that all of these people truly are her friends and not only like her for her but are just like her too! Such a perfect moment and I love how Yanagi is so nonchalant about the whole thing.

I’m also so excited the game got finished. I’m wondering if Kuruma hid something in there. It sure seems like it! I wonder if it’ll be a ingame reveal of feelings!?

I love the way you described these little micro hellscapes. They were hilarious. I particularly like the snake consuming the guy and abaddons nonchalant “looks good to me” attitude. That had me in stitches.

And the way kitty jumped like a little face hugger from the coffin. Absolutely wonderful, lolol.
But then, twist, kitty is a pyro?? Kitty burns devils?! What’s up with that? Who is this little angel (devil)?
