I’m so glad you liked it! I received some feedback that my story lacked action (considering the prompt) so this unplanned flashback scene became a welcome addition. I ended up liking it a lot too! I have a few more action scenes planned but overall this story is not very action packed 😅 I’m really happy if you’re still enjoying it!

Ahhh I’m glad you picked up on those details!! Textures and fabrics are certainly a motive in the story 👀 and Yuame is personally fascinated by fabrics, which is why he was studying the tengu’s garb so intensely hehe

Oh boy, Kaoru is definitely a trickster 😅 but even he does not want to make an enemy out of a tengu… even if that tengu is not the sharpest tool in the shed. :’)

Congratulations once again on making finals Jen, well deserved! Thoroughly enjoyed this immersive read 🥰 some arcs definitely could have been lengthened (like the stalker confrontation) but in the end it was a highly enjoyable read I couldn’t put down anymore! So even though there was a long time between my cat cafe visits, I’m really glad I returned. Great job!

“I didn’t think living the dream would look this… empty” and “yeah it’s pretty clear you’re alone here” OK OUCH 🔪 but she’s right 😂😅

The only tiny comment I could make is that while ramen can def be taken as take out, if Yohei got it a little in advance and Aoi wants to see the apartment first, the noodles would have gotten all soggy 🥹🥹🥹

Agreeing with the other commenters that it feels a little fast, yet I don’t mind it! Also not a fan of long misunderstanding arcs XD but also fair they didn’t share a kiss here, that would have been quite bittersweet. And the stalker arc… gah, I’ll have to finish this in one go now!
