Also great work in teaching us more about the Arcans. They are so very alien and different from humans that there is seemingly no connection to be made with them first, but maybe, Miu can learn stillness from them. I thought that was beautiful.

Kaoru is... not dumb, but the way he trusts in his own ability to rizz and swindle himself out of any situation can also be called dumb lol. Also, only samurai were allowed to carry swords, and guns were hard to get by. :) I really appreciate your point of view though, and I will likely rewrite a lot once I have the first draft out.
