Early twenties me would have loved to visit this club xD just because of the name lol

Also this might just be because of memes but "He bamboozled Kasane" sounded too funny and cute to me instead of the actual grave situation xD maybe "bewitched" or "tricked" might work better in this context. But that is just my opinion!

I have visited those haunted sites like the Kozukappara grounds because they’re not too far from where I live, and they’re still really eerie! A lot of it comes from imagination, but knowing the history of what took place there is really chilling. I hope I get to convey this in my writing as well!

I’m so happy you mention Ukiyo-e 🥰 that is definitely the image I was hoping to paint, obviously inspired by looking at many of them from the time-period xD

But again I agree 😭 there will be action scenes in this, but especially after reading your story and others I’ve become very aware how few there might be in mine 😅 I’ll try and add a few more without detracting from the narrative, because you’re right, I’m definitely putting historical accuracy and atmosphere first 😅

And you are correct 👀 without revealing too much, this entire novel is actually a prequel to a story I have been co-writing with someone. Since that couldn’t be entered in the contest, I started writing this prequel. But if you enjoy my writing and these characters, I would be honored if you would read that story too one day! ^^
