Things I’m starting to like about Oto:

1. He thinks the stranger is hot despite still not knowing their gender. He’s an indiscriminate king.
2. He doesn’t argue about himself being stupid but accepts it.
3. Not knowing what stuff means is hilarious. I already spoilered myself a little with Hazama’s report card but I’m so ready

This was a wonderfully sweet story 🥰 in so few words I really felt for Rory and Ewan and cheered for their love

It begs the question though if it is truly alright for Ewan to stay 👀 so many possibilities for a longer story. Would you ever consider writing more about them? If so, I’d love to read it!

I am intrigued by this nameless guardian. Their purpose and role are very clear. Not giving them any clear personality quirks makes Ewan and Rory stand out all the more which I’m sure was a deliberate choice

This is such a sweet, delicate opening. Is Ewan’s kind some type of being from Celtic folklore? Or did you imagine his kind? Whichever it is, I love it! I thought he was either an incubus or a Japanese variety that feeds on dreams, called muma 🥰 but I loooove the whole setting around the loch. Before my whole obsession with Japan began I had my Wiccan Goth/Pagan/celtic phase and I’m slowly circling back to it XD
