Poor child... Was the shadow his mother? And was she giving him an innocent haircut, or was she plotting murder?

Another DRRR fan!!! What about this reminds you of it?
So many interesting theories for the state of things ~
The concept is really starting to get interesting. I like the new cast a lot more too — they have more personality.

Mmmm very fair assessment ~ Have you considered that maybe it isn't exactly a "drug" at all?
The other reasons an RX dosage gets upped is because of the body developing a tolerance to it. (This is especially true for most drugs that treat mental health) So the implication here is that Marnie is taking it so much his tolerance is going to spike and Kaede, anticipating that, is increasing the dosage before he has any adverse side effects from elevated tolerance.
You're not wrong XD
Now THIS is where the story finally feels really exciting and compelling to me. Can't wait to see the ending!
This was definitely intriguing. Though something about reading it felt... awkward. It might have been more impactful if we got a bit more buildup on the characters.
One minute, you're questioning Taylor and Lacey's motives, the next you're watching them tragically die. It would make for awesome shock value if we didn't learn the truth at the same time, OR it would feel more tragic and heartfelt if we had more time to acquaint ourselves with them
This felt eerily like the Doll Room in Ib. I like that feeling. This chapter was really intriguing
The thighs and the bangs that cover his eyes X)
Somehow I got the impression of a hentai protagonist dropped into a psych Horror. Which is interesting

It's less an issue of drug addiction and more of a fixation with the feeling of release. Not even therapy has ever made him feel /better/. Not like the Other Side does.
Think of it like getting to live in that part of your mind where you indulge in fantasy to control your impulses.
