Strong first chapter. Get's right to the action. Simple and straight forward with a little mystery. Makes me wonder why the villagers and wolves are being hunted. You really do need a synopsis at least, though, Nhicke, because at the moment I have no idea what I'm reading in terms of genre.

Alright, so this is something called exposition. It's you telling the reader things about the story that YOU as the writer might need to know, but they don't. I would have proffered if this initial chapter started with the actions of the protagonist going about whatever his quest is. I can't really say anything to critique this because the story hasn't started yet. I like the imagination at least. Also, don't use emojis in the text.

I don't mean to come across as overly critical, it's just this was the exact thing that was pointed out to me when I was doing unnecessary exposition years ago.

To be honest, I'm not too familiar with slasher stuff either, but I get the gist of it, and I'm very familiar with shonen and comedy. Chapters 1-12 is shonen, comedy, and romance.... Chapter 13, the chapter I just posted, is where the horror starts. 🤢

Yeah, they're all mischievous idiots! For some reason I find General Ripper's southern accent easy. Not so much Puck's Canadian accent or Sam's Mexican-American accent, which is why I dropped their verbal ticks. Plague Doctor fits right in. He and Nurse Lovejoy have a real Joker and Harley Quinn thing going on.

I'm very glad you and the others have liked the comedy so far. It warms my hear to think my strange sense of humour appeals to others.

But I wonder what you guys will think of my latest chapter....
