My compliments to the chef! A very well-polished chapter and consistently so!

Personally, I thought some of your sentences were a bit long and that slowed the action down for me. I think some more shorter sentences might be good for punchier impact, but that's just a thought.

Overall, highly enjoyable read and I'll be eagerly waiting for the next chapter.

Small complaint, I think you're a bit reliant on onomatopoeia, and as Douglas said, ellipses. I think toning down usage of those two will enhance your prose.

There was a couple of grammar errors to be careful of. I think you should try an external software to help you catch them since they can be tricking to notice in the moment (I've done it so many times myself).
