Again, Natsume is basically just an asshole. I find myself wondering why I care about the backstory of an irredeemable asshole with no empathy, when said backstory doesn't reveal anything that makes him less than an asshole.
Like, honestly, I don't know how you want him to come off, but to me, he's not coming off as anything but an insensitive jerk who has no idea what he's talking about, and treats people like trash. Which, I mean, if that's the intention, you did it well, but that means that I just hate him and wonder why anyone in their right mind would hang out with him, or why Yui would even see him as a friend to begin with.
It just doesn't feel believable to me that this guy would be this much of a scumbag. "If you aren't following my rules, then there is no point in me being friends with you" isn't something that a rational person says.
