As someone who suffers from ADHD myself, it plagued me throughout my school life and still does today. (At this very moment my ADHD is causing me to respond to this comment instead of writing as I'm supposed to be doing, in fact) so I really wanted to capture that experience authentically. I'm glad it resonated!

Yep, something along those lines. Plus, sex is not required for procreation in the Bunker since all mothers are artificially inseminated by their husband's sperm through invitro fertilization anyway, so sexuality is a moot point.

Yep. Ai's trying to run things efficiently, but, well, humans are anything but efficient. Sometimes stuff breaks through the cracks.
You've certainly touched on the theme I'm aiming to convey, yes, that's a big part of it. As for what lies beyond the Bunker door... well, I'll leave that to the future.
Yes! I really wanted a setting that would set my romcom apart, and, well, "post-apocalyptic bunker" was the most unique one I could think of.
