LMAOOO "just friends" she's really rubbing all the salt into the wound with extra care ;D and then she left him???! OMG so she works at the maid cafe with her friend and kafjdksfj Megu trying to sniff out the BL...I feel you Haru, that's one insane superpower haha! Just like how Daichi and Koichi are Haru's #1 supportive friends, Megu cares about Kasumi enough to be Very Blunt immediately haha---and the VIP room scene was an absolute roller-coaster LOL the tonal whiplash from Haru getting dragged in there to discovering that Megu's actually a guy to probably one of the most serious talks about his avoidance behaviour when they pretty much only started talking for the first time here, to the whip.........absolutely chaos 😂😂😂

LOL blue flames, how very sports anime of them. And aaa Kasumi, this is a terribly awkward but a much needed conversation for them! It's good Kasumi seems to have bounced back and her personality is a good combo against his fears, even if he's feeling awkward she's not gonna let their friendship die just yet 😤
and akhfkdshf Kasumi subverts his expectations yet again, and just when he thinks his wallet is safe.....he gets some psychic damage instead 😂

I'm so proud of Haru for standing up to his father!! it's pretty evident that "connections" and "opportunities" isn't going to interest a high school kid, time for a showdown between father and son :D yeah look at Haru go he's joining multiple things aaand he met a girl, isn't he doing great??? "let me chase after the ones meant for me" aw yeah Haru, glad to see that his mother is--while not exactly on his side---willing to hear him out. They must be able to tell (hopefully?) that their son is pursuing something seriously for once 😭

ohhhhhhh so Toren has a real world counterpart too, what an interesting turn of events! and hmmm,,, unless Madam Claire is endgame for some reason I stand by my silly theory of Roki the elf being somebody important to her....teehee. another mysterious person trying to alter fate?? the mysteries grow!! it's kind of scary but at the same time they're countering it in a lovely, simple way with a fancy date though....that obviously goes...not wrong, exactly, but not quite as planned from the start LOL bland food, delish! and hghh no wonder rumours were spreading, even the father is kind of acting Like That, fair because of Hiroyuki's surprise proposal at the beginning, but it'd be nice if the rumours quieted down ;A; and curse time curse time, the last few paragraphs were definitely ominous, I wonder what sort of parallels we're getting with real world Amamiya....maybe smth he just didn't know about her because he didn't try hard enough back then...? or perhaps the unknown fate meddler's doing...? 👀

awww, Hiroyuki only thinking about Mia being in danger and not like, the usual implications I'm assuming the villagers are all like, oh nooo she is cursed~~ that's so sweet T__T lucky Hiroyuki to have better stamina as an elf! do elves' skin burn though? I wonder.... Sivan paints such a lovely picture, definitely a nice date spot! maybe not for Mia though...nice to see Hiroyuki thinking of her waaaa and LOL frightening gold coins indeed, and even copper seems to be quite the valuable currency here. ohh fear of magic! and those people are so mean, spreading rumours about poor Mia ;v; and omg Toren! Is he the fan favourite, what a dashing entrance hehehe

SCREAMS IT'S A CAT BOY is Hiroyuki jealous LOL I too would be, if I got forced into turning into an elf when I could've been a cat instead 😞 might've been easier to woo Mia too....fluffy ears....the dream....alas, he will have to keep dealing with being an elf and the consequences (and benefits) it brings hehe

omgggggggg that sounds terrible hahaha! me when I was in uni but the opposite (it was very cold there, like -30 C in the winter) and there was no heater in my room so I was dying of cold 😰 but the rent was cheap so !!!! ;A;

as long as there's money involved >:D I wonder if Hiroyuki didn't have money, what the mayor would act like instead.....

rent-free housing is always nice, even if it's not in the best condition! and bigger than his apartment, that's totally a win ;D BUT IT"S HOT.....maybe that's not a win......and oh dear! that must be terrifying to wake up to, thankfully not an Angry mob but a group there for him nevertheless! and omgkahdfjashf it's not even a custom here it's Madam Claire's doing LOL and that's kind of a stupid excuse but also one that works pretty well? ingenious on Hiroyuki's part if I may say, it helps to establish his own potential inaccuracy to his elven roots, and also makes the villagers more comfortable with him (maybe) and oooHHH it's not just respect it's about the benefits....the richs.....well, it's mutually beneficial after all!

and oooh Mia's family seems to be cursed? what an interesting development 👀

AAAA the band is so welcoming, Haru is definitely in good company! he's truly come a long way (I feel this every few chapters), and it's wonderful to see, even if most of the time it's an attempt to give Grace some experiences or to figure her out more, it's always leading to his social life improving and I'm so down for that. Grace is changing a bit too haha, feels like they're doing the thing where they're absorbing a tiny bit of each other's personality after spending so much time with each other.
And oh no! a trip to America so soon when he's just started trying some new things with his friends.....

I think it's a reasonable answer from Haru, especially because it's true it's a bit early--and how honest of him to bring up Grace (though roundabout), both Grace and Kasumi are sort of enigmatic so I wonder what Kasumi's really feeling behind her facade~ 👀
LOL the operator being used to failed confessions of course :') With the lines here, it feels like if Kasumi had met Haru before Grace, things would've been different at this point. However without Grace, would he have been willing to drag himself out of his shell? an eternal chicken and egg question...........and what a busy day for Haru, now music time~ MEPHISTO MY BELOVED kasfdks anyways, it's nice they had a bunch of snacks (watered down cola sounds kinda gross though) aw yeah the music scene was great! the descriptions give off a band anime feeling, I can def see this animated, Haru beginning to realize hey, this irl stuff is fun 😎

Haru is so considerate esp when he's still feeling like Grace is a part of his subconscious haha, and aww she's so pure and kind hearted there's not a trace of jealousy LOL, though I do wonder if that's a front because of how her world vanishes when Haru wakes up....ah, I see now how he feels abt Kasumi (the "everything he did was to scare her off" thing) nothing like a spinny ride to start their date! and it's nice that he's starting to realize the fun he had with Grace can be replicated irl, character development ~~ and WHOA very forward of him he'd never have been able to do smth like that 10 chapters ago, how far he's come ;A; dragging her all the way to a haunted house, how romantic :D (not actually I would physically die if someone did that to me, Kasumi's got nerves of steel even when she's scared haha) and ferris wheel scene to round off the date! time for some developments!!! (or a few steps backwards......) but hopefully forwards!

he's starting to learn how to make new friends....the walls are slowly crumbling down hehe, he's half trying to scare her off with weeb songs but on the other half idk if he's realizing it but he's showing the parts of himself he's not usually willing to share which means he's opening up which means something. we're getting somewhere :D AND KSHFKSDH DID SHE RECORD THE DEATH METAL KARAOKE SESSION LOL and jkasfks blackmail (sort of) and I love how people are like, nahh gossip about a couple is boring, only people being stupid is worth their time haha! OH! friend! tbh I was probably as dense as Haru until that moment RIP if it takes this long for Haru to open up to ppl willingly, it's gonna of course take many more chapters before he'll consider her as a romantic option hahaha but they've got plenty of time for that 👀

Haru's normie life begins!! omg I feel his misgivings w/ joining late everyone's got stuff established etc but of course they love him!!! everything's going so well he feels like it's dream ;A; I'm so glad he's having fun outside of his dreams too wahh.

AND LMAO Kasumi seeing his "about to scream" face, the poor girl but she has so much mental fortitude so it all works out! karaoke duet time! not quite an actual duet though LOL but it seems like they're having a bunch of fun 😭 👍 the whole karaoke scene is such a blast, Kasumi's antics really are good for Haru('s social life, not quite his sanity but we're getting there)

OK I THINK IM JUST THEORIZING OUT OF A MOMENT OF INSANITY HERE but what if Madam Claire has some history with the elf Hiroyuki is currently portraying......I am chewing on the implications of his isekai experience rn I am probably not onto anything but I am very intrigued~ anyways, the amount of joy Hiroyuki is deriving from Mia willing to see him again is so childishly pure in the best of ways, because he's truly starting to discover what love is all about!! and LMAO two handles, he's got no fear, just opening the random handle but ofc, it's Madam Claire, he's probably used to her antics haha! oooh oooooh of course parallel worlds don't line up perfectly and I can't wait to see the differences, WHAT IS SHE TALKING ABOUT BUYING TIME OMGGGG I have a feeling this isn't all fun and games quest for love, there's probably smth insidious....something dangerous........OH WAIT as you can see im typing out my live reaction bUT WHAT THE ENDING WHAT?????? 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱

thank you for the chapter title and contents to bring back joy into this story ;A; I definitely feel Haru's struggles, she definitely feels Too Real and lmao thank you Haru's brain akfhds his thought process is so relatable haha! and aah it's nice to see some of Daichi's antics with Haru too, both his friends are great, trying to drag him to try new things and maybe it's a combo of Grace and Kasumi but it seems like he's finally willing to put himself out there a little - I'm assuming it's likely both of them have been trying for Haru since forever but Haru kinda needs that self-motivation too ;v; awww they are so supportive! and Haru's thinking about shifting his sleep schedule for a friend, what a huge difference from chapter 1 "sleep is more important than anything"
