Adopting an introvert, nice, I like the premise.
Only issue is this read more like a script than a novel, but I'm sure there's others who would appreciate the style more

Yeah I try to keep tags to a minimum in my own writing too, since it'll read cleaner that way.
Just a matter of guessing how hard a time readers might have keeping up without dialogue tags, but if it's just two people talking, should be easy enough.
Also boii we were doing read trades lmao
