One small thing I noticed in this chapter was how unnatural the end conversation between Olivia and Suzuka came off as. Instead of it flowing to different topics naturally, she asks her questions over and over again and gets the answers like she’s selecting dialogue options in a video game. That’s not to say this kind of dialogue has no place in reality but it certainly isn’t helping to establish any chemistry between the two of them. This feels like a fairly easy mistake to make and I’m worried I struggle with this myself at times, so I’m at least glad this gave me an excuse to think about it.

Overall reactions! Yes, the story is funny. Bodhi is probably my favorite as I value uniqueness when it comes to characters and they stand out the most to me. It’s a simple appeal but I like seeing all the other animals they go up against, it’s entertaining just to find out what they’ll see next and how it’ll be portrayed. Your writing is very enjoyable and easy to follow, and the story feels like it’s all handled pretty well.
Yeahhhh I wouldn’t go on half the rides in this book myself
