I actually outlined for this thing, which is why I realized I wouldn't have enough time/words for it 
other people might be able to comfortably finish an idea in under three months and 75k words but I'm not one of them... for now anyway
even though I had a massive meltdown at the end, this one made me realize that maybe the first draft IS my outline in a way. For the next contest, assuming I join, I think I'll turbo write the first draft, edit/rewrite, then post that. I'll admit I do like the chaos of last minute writing but after "finishing" seconds before the deadline for three contests in a row I have to admit that maybe it's not the best approach,,,
but anyway, genuinely appreciate the advice, and thank you very much for the read
