apparently my writing style is too avant-garde for the weebs or some shit but if you ask me that's just a polite way to tell me I have terminal skill issue

I had several paragraphs pointing out the gravity thing, when read lihinel's comment and deleted this out of spite

Anyway, I would agree that so far Food Trucks is the best one, but having read three of your entries, I would say that the wholesome romance one was the most enjoyable? I feel like this one is honestly the funniest by far and the chaos is so unhinged that it circles back to working, food trucks is the more balanced, but pandora's box having a more grounded plot and characters made it more easy to get invested in I think, and I think that's why jethro is basically everyone's favorite. Adding onto that, I feel like Kuro was pretty distinct, but the latest two mcs are very very similar and so are the sidekicks to an extent.

Honestly I could tell that it got rushed near the end, and unlike the last two entries I felt like it meandered more. I'm not sure if it's because of the super rushed back to back contests, but it feels like the entries this year took a heavy hit quality wise, even from my favorite authors here like you. Entries I really enjoyed at first were ok by the end, some taking stupid turns that ruined my enjoyment (if you're reading this it's not you cLam you'reself)... and with that said, even though this one was notably rushed and feels pantsed, it still maintained the same "quality" throughout. It got insane but not stupid, and no matter how weird the plot got, it stayed internally consistent which is amazing considering how this fever dream began vs. how it ended. I think it's that weird ability to keep chaos coherent is why I keep gravitating back into your stories (as well as nakano's tbh).

If I were to rank them so far, it'd be
    1. pandora's box
    2. sucky apocalypse
    3. food trucks in space

I know that sounds insane considering how much glazing food trucks has gotten (imo it should've won but whatever), but I also think its balance means that it doesn't reach the highs the other two have. What I can tell you is that, whenever I read one of your stories, I know that I'll have a good time. Something with pandora's box more grounded approach, food truck's overall quality and sucky apocalypse's sense of humor would be so so stacked

looking forward to see more from you :bee_thumbs: but also, and this goes for all of us who faceplanted this contest, please remember that anime writing site <<<< not pushing ourselves so much. If there's something I've learned it's that even if "writing is a marathon not a race" if you run nonstop while dodging so many hidden requirements, there's only one destination :bee_sweat:
