Kya touched on it, but I like how natural and real the conversations feel between characters. There seem to be quite a few of them. I think in the long run, giving a select few at a time to marinate might give readers a better sense of who people are. Really solidly written chapter.

Seeing the character growth already is genuinely exciting to read. 👏 I’m finally understanding what you meant by “language” a few chapters ago. This might be the first time I’ve seen love languages be seriously addressed in a romance story in this format. I have fully warmed up to Jun as an MC (he’s a much nicer elf than Cedrick that’s for sure) 😂 Reading this did, in fact, brighten my day.

OK, I understand now. It took me a minute to realize that we had a perspective change to Konya after he helped Kiyoshi. You may** try to either introduce him as Konya early in the chapter to avoid confusion for the reader, but only if you’d like. Kaze already covered that above though, nice chapter.

We’re definitely leaning into more of the steamy romance now, and it’s well written 🔥🫠 but I must say… Only one of our leads are currently sitting right with me. Ms. Iwamoto should have knocked some sense into Ace after all. I am curious to get the full story between him and Emma’s grandfather. Only time will tell. I think Ace would benefit from a humbling event.

Sorry for the comment spam, but I’m happy to have caught up. Eleven chapter in, and it seems like you’re having so much fun with it. I can feel the joy you’re putting into writing Alice and Jason, and the humor and charm is coming across as a result. (+ I see romantic development) I can say I’m having a knee-slapping good time as well. (Also when Alice started the line with “I go by many names” it reminded me of SAO abridged, highly recommend 😂)

Slowly, but surely Alice is leaving her mark on me as an endearing character. Jason going off on Uni is funny 😂 I don’t regret going to college personally, I met more like-minded individuals there then I had ever before. Two friends I just went to Japan with. (not to mention that piece of paper helped me get a job) I really matured in those 4 years too.
