the timeskip was sadly for the sake of the wordcount. I would have loved to show his rise to prominence a lot more indepth 😔

thank you, thank you. The mood i wanted for this novel initially was something softer, and I knew that some sort of 'accident' wasn't really going to cut it. I also needed some sort of fosterable traumatic experience for the sake of the plotline -uo
