These two chapters I've just read are already a big improvement over what I read in the beginning. There are more line breaks, the dialogue flows smoothly, the descriptions are relevant, etc. For now I don't have any real critiques.
And he's already redeemed himself! You love to see it. These past few chapters have hooked me, looking forward to the continuation.
I'm liking this dynamic, I hope the boy pulls himself together sooner or later. Love the new cover art by the way!

I love how the style of narration matches the protagonist's way of speaking. At first I thought that was just the way you write. 😅
