I've been considering either cutting out chapter 4 alltogether or moving it to after they've left the village to pace the story better. The next arc will start soon!

It's a shame you couldn't make it to Aomori, I'm enchanted by that prefecture. I'm planning a trip to Japan for next year and Aomori is definitely high on my to-do list.
I came here to clown on you but I was hooked after the first few lines. 😭 who's the bozo now Writing is clearly your strong suit! This is a strong start, I'm sure you'll be able to keep this up throughout the novel.
