"Just a date at the beach" is a lovely way to help calm down after those TENSE fight chapters. The fight actually got my heartbeat going because I was so invested in the battle, and this was a nice way to cool down after that x)
I'm excited for Sumire and Takao's future together, and for them to get to enjoy the Dragon Festival while getting to be closer in their relationship. Maybe they'll be bonded one day. Maybe one day~ 😉
But there's definitely plenty of questions here for a volume two! Mia, Karou, and that unknown greater evil are still out there. The amulet too is a mystery...and of course, getting to see Takao become a Rank A adventurer and really test the limits of his mirror magic! I feel like this first novel was really a prologue, and you've set up a fantastic starting point for more adventures if you want to explore them!!
If there's anything I can use to describe these last Karou fight chapters, it would be: Epic. The scale, the descriptions, the constant raise in the stakes. You have a really great way of balancing the fight scenes and keeping tension throughout, while also describing the actions with clarity so that the movement of the characters can be easily imagined in the mind! I'd be really interested to see you write something that is battle-oriented as its main theme.
And again, I really enjoy your smart writing, where you manage to fit in details and subtleties naturally into descriptions or transitional elements. I've commented on them when I see them, but it just shows to me that you've really thought about every word you've put into this story. The attention to detail is impeccable.
My only request would be that I'd love to see more romantic elements between Takao and Sumire 
but I think if you write a sequel, there will be definitely time enough for that!
