Bernard playing the part of a commoner really well! I'm glad he isn't too sheltered of a prince, and he's got a smart head on his shoulders!
But now Bernard is going to find out a lot of less-than-pleasant dark secrets about his father...
The dialogue between Bernard and the old man flowed really well, by the way! I caught myself just comfortably reading through it, nothing to pull me out of the narrative. Which was such a treat. 🤗
The sexy portraits though 🤣 old-timey Instagram profile pics, I swear!! Absolutely hilarious!! And yet, also relevant to the story, and fitting for Bernard to feel disconnected looking at them.
I love listening to his thought process as he works through solutions for the map. I wonder if he's already found the right one with Repent?
