Carlos is sneakily very good at the game >:) yessss. I am a fan!

But Keith is doing his best playing a position that's not his favorite, against players that have WAY more practice than him. Honestly he made the team. Even as a reserve, that's awesome. Now he can work on perfecting his skills!

Aww! A crash-in at the library, but I'm glad it gave them a chance to meet!!
I was an arts student at university. I will admit to not being the biggest fan of basketball, simply because they always got the spotlight from the University (their faces were put on posters, they'd get passes out of class, the athletics dept had a huge budget since it generated ticket sales.) Whereas the arts school? Even though we actually had a national ranking, our budget was next to nothing, and our classrooms were in the old school buildings, because we didn't "make money" for the uni. Whereas the athletics department kept getting new, top of the line facilities. 😭 It killed me and my classmates.
Not saying this is suuuper relevant, but since you are writing something right on this topic, I thought I'd throw in my two cents 🤣 it's something you could maybe bring up between Jessica and Keith? But if it's totally against the direction of your story, feel free to disregard!!

Vivian isn't min-maxing 😭 and it's killing us softly.

Stef and Vladdy though 💕 [sigh] they may not get to be main characters but I shall love them all the same. In a way, I'm glad they're not the main cast, because the protagonists always have to go through struggles 🤣 This way, they can be a cute supportive couple, and I don't have to worry about them being in danger. Yeah!! I mean, he just woke up in a new body like "???" 🤣 I can't even remember how to avoid walking into corners *myself* on a good day. I cannot imagine what it would be like to suddenly be taller and with totally different proportions.

Honestly I'd love to write a story sometime deconstructing all the usual expectations about isekai. I can't delve into it too much in this novel (for sake of staying on target) but I think it's a fascinating concept!
