I find this story to be very cute. A little simple on the descriptions and narration, but charming in its own way. Hikari is a bit of a goofball, her thoughts running wild at nearly every situation. But she has this earnestness, despite being a bit empty as a charcter aside from the cats.
Around the third chapter, it kind of hit me what the overall vibe felt like. Something akin to Fruits Basket. At least, the first portion where it's a girl placed into a weird bunch, who keep that side secret to the public.
