I'm running out of the total words I can use haha I think it makes me choose very carefully on what to prioritize. Kinda like these guys in the story. I've already calculated the remaining number of chapters and the average number of words I could use per chapter LOL Almost makes me feel like I'm also there in the apocalypse
I think Victor and Atlas could have been good friends, if they had more time. In my head, Victor, Atlas, and Abigail are very similar, in that they are very in tune with their ideals (if you didn't notice, the three of them are the ones who each have "Idealism" chapters attributed them. Atlas and Victor each have two (perhaps because their ideals shifted in response to their predicaments), and Abigail has one (perhaps because her wishes remained changed).
... And this wouldn't even have been a question if Atlas had met Victor in the far, far past. Atlas would have definitely liked Victor. He 100% would have sat with him in the park and listened to him talk about his ideals and how he wanted to change the world, etc. And perhaps Atlas would have helped Victor to choose a more reasonable approach to his dreams once Victor's ideals crumbled after the accident.
Let me be honest, he miiiiight have been able to fix Victor back then unlike Abigail, who was still struggling to become mature at the time (her personality was a lot more snarky, dark, and brooding back then. The Abigail we see here is the result of countless years of effort to try and become a better person).
Maybe in another lifetime, hm? Maybe in another lifetime....
