I feel for Mel. It must be an awful position for professional artists. In the first place, you need those people to make a living, but on the otherhand you don’t want to hang out with them. You have nothing in common with them. It reminds me of the film La Notte where the main character, Giovanni Pontano, is an author that is pretty much forced to go to high society parties, do they can sho off that they know him.
