I like how well-known real-life historical events have been beautifully interwoven with the story of this book! 📜

Also, the idea of having historical texts interspersed throughout the narrative, which fill us with knowledge about the world we've been 'transported' to, is very interesting and quite original as well.

I'm sure I'll adopt this in a potential future book. In the current one, for example, I simply left a lot of material for the appendices, which, I now see, could have been part of the main book ✍️

Great stuff. Let's see what's next! 😊👍

The witty banter between Pliny and Pompanianus was excellent!
Their philosophical exchange, even on the Styx, made the trip compelling and laid the perfect groundwork for the brilliant hook at the end 👍

A very atmospheric chapter!

An evening where all are gathered together watching a spectacle (directly connected to their own "backstory") is just what you need to travel through the habits and daily life of that time (of a fictional world, no less).
