Alrighty, so this was the last chapter I read around a month ago I believe. I am excited to see what comes next but now, I'll focus on leaving a comment about his lordship, Lukas Lee.
His whole energy is just different from everything so far. He's like the machine, the cogs, everything. I do wonder how Lilja came to work there and be in the position she is now, but I do enjoy this style of pace changes, especially given how I still believe everyone so far represents a part of this city.
Iris the artistic side, how one yearns for the old days while still living in the future and working their best to overcome difficulty.
Lilja the futuristic side, where everything is not always good and can lead to some pretty nasty and dark secrets and that technology not always means prosperity.
Lukas the innards. How shall I put this, just like the machine and the cogs? What makes this city go around. The inner parts of it, the deals, the blood, are what makes both of those sides of this world and city work.
I'm excited now to continue with this story!
