Ah, I'm glad! And this is a very interesting point! I was just sort of discussing a similar topic with my friend too who just joined HF and the server!

I get what you mean, but I'm thinking of that kind of influence as entitlement, perhaps? Sure, let's say something in your story went different from what I was expecting. I might voice that since you are open for feedback, but I would never assume you or any writer should cater to my wishes that far. Write your own story then, I think.

As a writer too, I take feedback but it's up to me which feedback I'll listen to and implement. If certain people don't like my work or the story I'm writing, that's too bad but it wouldn't make me lose sleep to lose that kind of reader, I think.

Though it's easier said than done since I've never experienced Sir Conan Doyle levels of fame (yet, haha), and if I wrote a somehow ragingly popular novel, the pressure would definitely be larger.

And going back to HF, I would certainly be disappointed to lose you as a reader because I respect your views and admire your writing! And you have already influenced me a little (more action! haha). But in all honesty, in the end I think I would stay true to my own ideas...

I agree with the other comments as well, at first I wasn’t sure if coaxing Azag like this in public would work, but it does. Also the other comrades letting go of their embarrassment was hilarious and adorable, really. We all need physicality and bonding, not only as romantic partners, but as simply being alive. At least, that’s what I think.

Metal shows are pure release of negative emotions and that is why studies have shown that overall Metal fans are very emotionally regulated
