It’s a really cool idea and I love the cover :)
I would recommend describing the emotions and surrounding more the conversations are great but I can’t really feel the emotion and there aren’t really any surroundings described :)
If you write it a bit longer that also would be great I think :D

The emotions are very strong nd I feel really bad for the main character :/
I love the sentence when he asks himself why he has to get stronger when he's just a middle schooler , it really shows that he only is a child and not some overpowered warriors like in most story's I can feel his fear and how desperate he is :(
