ok, review time. doing this in a different format than I normally do. Overall, I thought the novel was ok. there's pothole here and there, but the overarching story makes up for it. Characters are good, if nothing special, and the plot is just ok. I will say the plot gets way better in the 2nd half though. Worldbuilding is good, but its sci-fi, so that's to be expected.
Overall though liked it. normally I would have a much longer review, but sadly college exams exist. good job and good luck

Ok, read this a long time ago, and apparently never reviewed it, so may get some facts wrong. Here we go.
Starting with the characters, I feel like this is where the story shines. Every character feels incredibly unique (too unique at times) and they do a great job at subverting tropes, for lack of a better way to put it. some of the dialogue and characters are almost monogatari-like in the absurdity department. Then we have George, oh George. Just George...
Ok, now on to the plot. It can feel kind of convoluted at times, and the goal of the story is somewhat muddles and uncelar, especially at the beginning. dispite that, I still feel like the plot works beautifully, with twists and turns that keep you at the edge of your seat.
When it comes to worldbuilding, it grows on me. originally, I was not a fan. it felt boring, if unique. Dispite that, as I kept reading, the world started to grow on me as we learned more about it. Seeing the different locations and people became more and more entertaining as time went on.
Overall. while this was a very weird book, I still liked it. don't have too much else to say. あもんぐす

Well, this was more depressing than I thought it would be. don't think I've ever started a review with that. Most of the novels I've read, especially in who needs plot, have been lighthearted slice of lives, but this... this just made me sad. still, really liked it. ok, review time.
Starting with the characters, I felt like Princess was easy to like, and the 'bad guys' were super easy to hate. It all seemed realistic, too realistic to how things are in the real world. you make it incredibly easy to root for her and hope she gets a happy ending, something I glad she gets.
Speaking of a happy ending, I feel like it compliments the book well. the plot of the novel is simple and stratforwars, as we follow her journey after getting dumped. I liked how the sorry sort of served as a half-circle, going down and down, before she actually got a home.
Overall, I liked the story, even if I was halfway brought to tears. stories with does almost always made me sad lol. Great job, and good luck. also, side note, normally this review would be way longer, but Im short on time. Sorry I couldn't provide more criticism. Good luck!

ayooo, whats up? Before I start out my review, I just wanted to say a great job. This was fun to read, and I had an enjoyable time reading it. Ok, time to start the review.
Starting with the characters, if I had to describe all of them in one word, it would be likable. I liked Kokomi and everyone else at the aquarium. they all seemed realistic and just fun, real people. The "villain" has hateable enough, and I felt that they all fit into the story well, improving it.
The plot also worked well, using the characters to help weave its story. most of it is incredibly realized, but that lingering dread of the investigation works wonders for the story, gaming everything seems more important, and adding a suspenseful factor to the story, always lingering in the background.
Being that this is a slice of life, don't have to much to say about the worldbuilding. I liked it, and it all seemed constistant, with no major issues with the world. great job overall.
Summing everything up, I liked the story. its not too focused on plot, but holds a collective narrative, with an aspect of suspense always in the background, making every scene feel more important. Great job and good luck!
