Having read the story to the end, I really appreciated how a series of misunderstandings escalated into something dramatic yet believable. You lived up to the Impossible Romance challenge beautifully with a fair number of emotional highs and lows. I was genuinely happy with how it ended.
My only concern was how Yuri just seemingly dropped off from the series towards the last few chapters (its like the author just dismissed her from the cast). While Shiki did stay home after the week and is passive, considering Yuri is his deskmate, I'm surprised he didn't see her the whole week. Though given she was supportive of his efforts, its quite possible she was giving him space since he probably did tell her of the situation and she was caring enough (even if she is crazy at times) to back off.
I thought it was "cute" how Saya turned around on the possessive drive at the end claiming Shiki was now hers. They are in their own way, a good match for each other, even if it is out there on the romance spectrum.
Hopes for volume 2:
-Saya and Shiki attempt to become a genuine couple. Depending on how much influence (aka screentime) Shiki's mom has, this could either be really heartwarming with bits of zany, an on and off relationship, or even a very dark turn (ie: repeat of Saya's parents)
-Definitely more about Yuri and her family dynamics. I was a bit surprised the parents were never around even on the Saturday morning when Shiki was there.
-Saya facing her family and her past (given Saya has run away, while I'm not sure about her mom, I could see her Dad trying to reconcile and depending on author's interest and overall plot, that could even be the catalyst for Shiki to properly man up and become a proper boyfriend to Saya.
Congrats on making it into the semi-finals
