Hmmmmm, time to make observations that I'll probably take back/reyract in a few chapters again๐

One thing is the books goal, its a bit unclear in the first few chapters, now it seems to be about our boy Han travelling this world while flexing his God mode - And by proxy the people he meets along the way, hence the rather long amount of time dedicated to Tom's family, Batheny, the lady knight and Elis.
Thing is, they dont really have much going for them? The lady knight I'll put aside a moment as she's new but Tom & Elis are just here - Sure they reflect parts of the world or mirror parts of Hans old life, I dig that, but they've yet to show any signs of a character arc or interpersonal stakes - They're just here - And now they're just leaving๐

You gave a considerable amount of time to Miss.Brittainy, now if she comes along with the group, fair enough - But if we're gonna be leaving her behind too, then her chapters will feel a bit like filler, again sure it shows Han's.... distrubing impact on the world, but really didn't need quite this much space.
In fact if Hans only impact had been a single chapter where we see her rally the staff and stand strong to her fear - Then that'd be pretty ideal - But the chapters long easuring herself comes off as 'erotica filler' if that makes sense๐

Thats kinda my observation - Tom has so little of remark, that if we simple saw him get saved by Han and then brought to the safety of the village over two chapters, we'd lose nothing - The carraige scene exentuates Hans exoberent side and gives some expoisition but its hardly vital to the story.
So even if Tom returns in 50 chapters time, its gonna be like;
'Who was that again? A merchant whos a little like younger Han? Ok.'
Ya know what I mean?๐
I think it would help if it was more like character vinettes, seeing a character's views on Han and how he effects stuff is good, but it'd be great if they were a little deeper - Maybe Elias could of had a scene where she's conflicted on her affections for Han, ultametly chosing to go with Tom's family becuase she fears staying with Han will lead her to betraying her husbands memory - Just a little something like that to make these people we are meeting more memorable and meaningful.
