That was a lot of exposition.

Not in bad way.

More in a "I'd love to be able to pull that off without f'ing it up in the process" way. It revealed a lot about the setting that could have only been guessed or infered earlier on, plus a lot of new stuff.

Now I am kinda second guessing if I maybe didn't give enough exposition in my chapters so far.

The answer to the fermi paradox is actually pretty straight forward:

1.) Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from catgirls.
2.) Any sufficiently advanced catificial intelligence inevitably transmutes their home star into a giant ball of wool, thus ending existence around that star.
