Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. 
This was quite a departure from the style of my MALxHF entry that really suffered from spelling everything out and info dumping instead of hinting at things. It's nice to see that it worked for you since there weren't any test readers.
I hope it'll work for others too.
No idea yet how the other authors handled the prompt, as I didn't want to inadvertently influence my plot/ideas until the entry was done. Gonna read up on some other entries in the coming days.
