Ahaha full teacher mode is fine!! Trust me, when I am writing my other novels (which are high fantasy, usually set in a specific medieval time period) I research the HECK out of the armor of the times. Full Plate armor is used in a surprisingly small amount of history, and even then Full Plate was more ceremonial (or used only in a few specific battles/situations.) Chain mail is certainly more prevalent, and leather armor usually what I end up studying the most more than anything metal at all xD
...But that doesn't stop me from drawing this strange stereotype of full plate metal aesthetic, because whenever I draw leather armor it just looks like...like...sad LARPers or something 🤣 (I'm hoping that makes sense.) So this drawing is definitely more on the side of "Okay I wanted this to imply the idea of Knight" rather than accuracy.
I've been out of the video game scene for awhile. Used to play a lot up until a few years ago, when suddenly something in my brain just kinda...switched? I don't get as much enjoyment out of games anymore 🤔 I blame getting older 🤣 I stress too much about the stuff I need to get done in my day to really get invested into games. But I'll go back to them every now and again ♥️ hoping to play Tears of the Kingdom when I get a chance.
