Claire is basically living in a TARDIS at this point, and she might be my convenient plot device for a lot of things >w> but darn it, we needed Toren in a suit ❤️

If I can find a way to bring that seahorse suit back, you know it's going to happen. Can you IMAGINE a love confession scene in that suit? 😂 Jun getting down on one knee, trying to be serious, confessing his love...somehow wearing that dang seahorse costume. 🐴🌊

For real, I usually write stories that are way more on the description/fantasy side (and less comedy/anime tropes) so this was a bit of an indulgence for me to get to bring out my usual style ❤️

Toren rocking that suit, because drawing Theo all dapper made me want Toren to join in the dapper crew. (And hey, all art is a gift, I'm still over the moon with what you've already sent me <333)

Thanksgiving vibes!! Ahaha, I was trying to go for something similar to the Flower Carpet & Flowertime events in Brussels. But I think with the focus on crops I did end up a bit more Thanksgiving didn't I? (Not that I mind, I'm very happy with that!)

Don't mind me replying late here >w> today is my catch-up day with reading and commenting! ❤️ I'm so glad you like my town descriptions. Especially knowing how fantastic your festival descriptions were during the Obon scenes in your story!! 🏮 I'm trying to go for something a bit more European-festival here, as opposed to Japanese, but still with a fantasy feeling overall!

Ahaha oh the Mistborn trilogy will keep you paranoid about these things! I don't know which book you are currently reading, but keep a VERY close eye on those little bits of lore text at the beginning of each chapter. 👀 They change slightly, and they are inconsistent...which ends up being important in the later books. (But I won't say any other spoilers!)

Ahaha okay, this would have been a VERY different fight if both Toren and Roki hadn't decided to hold back. But I think both of them realized: this other guy isn't that different than me, and Mia wouldn't want us doing this anyway. (And you are totally right about this being a fight between two "not fighting masters" 😆 it would not have gone well if I'd tried to make this a serious battle!)
Finally getting to show some more sides to Mia ❤️ she's going to really shine these next few chapters and I'm hoping to do her justice with my writing!!

My life is hectic too!! (Today was actually one of the first days recently where I could catch up with reading and replying to things) So please read at your own pace whenever you like 💖 I would never want to force someone to read my writing, that would make me sad 🤣

The problem with Roki's hair is that he actually might have a hard time finding people to trade it! I assume it's very valuable, and not everyone would have the coin on-hand to buy it from him directly. (It probably would have been smarter to offer Mia some of the gold coins that Roki has 👀 but he wasn't really thinking about that in the spur of the moment.)

Mia and Roki truly did end up, I think, as very good friends. I always wanted them to have good chemistry together!! Since I did want to show WHY Jun and Amamiya did originally date each other (rather happily) for a year. They do have a connection! But is it lasting love? Or would they have been better off as lifelong friends instead? that was always the debate in my mind.

Ohh that little tumble off the cliff!! I'm glad it was a short fall, but Paltar might need some healing magic after all this :( I'm worried about his injuries!

Also the thread between Eo and the stuffed mouse 💔😭 I felt my heart actually ache at the thought. If Eo doesn't have any family here I hope he can come with Paltar and Nanna and maybe they can bring him to Nanna's castle eventually. Or maybe to that lovey dovey inn owner couple? 😆 They seem like they might be the perfect parents ❤️

At least they have some food and a bit of laughter for now!! ✨ Waiting to see where the strings bring them next 👀 I almost feel like these strings allow Paltar to see fate!

And now, a scenic moment. This time on National Geographic: We watch the oryctolagus cuniculus babacus in its natural habitat, having a symbiotic relationship with the homen spapius yadaian.

This is amazing! I love the documentary narration style!! Baba has been secretly ordering food from UberEats off Ru's phone 🤣

And then, a poker game for survival. But Baba loses by just a stroke of fate. Now he must bravely set off into the unknown 🫡 thinking his adoptive mother has been swayed by these other beasts. He ventures off into the park -- only to be captured!!!

Yada is trying so hard to move 😢 so she can search for baba! But she's burning herself on the pavement. 💔 Maybe Yada will finally relearn to walk soon after this?

But first, they must stop these rabbit-nappers!!! And also stop those Wanted papers 😭 5.000.000.000.000 yen for the bread-stealing bunny!?! He's wanted more than Vash the Stampede!!
