Yeah, I definitely overdid it with the line breaks in the last two sections. Inducing actual gestaltzerfall (real) in a reader is never good--even if gestaltzerfall (fake) happens to be a plot element!
I swear the "unorthodox" format isn't me being weird for the sake of it, though 😭
All the formatting comes from the way I read regular books--if I have an ebook with long passages, I will sometimes put each sentence on its own line, and add character names to who's speaking on long stretches of dialogue . ... But now I'm realizing I may suffer from some kind of very specific brainrot as a reader.
Big thank you for sticking around to the end of the arc, though.. Seriously!
