yep, Sayane has become a certain archetype for me. that name will be in every story as some type of Easter egg associated with hope. in Plum Blossoms, there’s a helpful young woman. there will be a character named Sayane in Salaryman Part 2. I’ve got a few ideas for Star Falls. I’m not creating a cinematic universe or anything lol, I just have decided that Sayane will be my unifying thread through every story!

and our beautiful, complex Miu. she never wanted to be a monster. she wrestled so much with becoming something terrible, but in the end she found a way to do some manner of good, even if she hated so much of our world. And poor Yuki. he was just a child, frozen in time, traumatized until he broke. he died without ever loving himself, but he found a way to help Miu and the G.A.K.I.. and in the end, that was really all he ever wanted.
