I feel you dude. If what's happening to Rio (and hopefully, Lucas someday) greatly affects you deep down like how Hinota's or Kudo's circumstances are affecting me, then that lets me know their characterization is working some magic and I hope to build up on that as time goes on!

Be forewarned, I intend to throw bricks or heavier objects at my characters every chance I get. How they will react to it, how they will deal with it, and how it may change them... the possible results get me pumped up to no end!

Writing this story is one of the most exciting things I'm doing right now, so while hindrances will slow me down and I may not always be in the creative mood. I'll at least write a sentence, make corrections or improve certain parts when the worst comes to worst.

Regarding my laptop, I've already got my eyes set on a new one that will not only beat it in specs but will also be easier to repair locally. No more sending it to the U.S to solve a simple problem beyond my comprehension!

By the way, I hope you're adjusting to your new life in Pennsylvania. It should be cold by this time of year and being from a country within the equator myself, I treat the cold as this awesome change of pace at first (Can't believe It's possible to feel cold despite wearing a jacket under the sun), but then I start missing the old feeling I had back home because well, you don't realize how much you like something until it's gone.

Cheers man, and I hope you enjoy the holidays! :D

Once more, praise be to the long comments here!

On Lucas stitching himself, it was more of a "no choice" situation because he would have preferred to get professional help but the school nurse lacked the confidence and did not expect to be tackling this kind of injury anytime soon thanks to the school rules prohibiting the use of weapons unless absolutely necessary, which in this case, wasn't. It's not out of the question that Lucas may have learned a few pointers from Rea whether it be direct or indirect but Lucas was certainly not in a good condition to do a commendable job. The fact that he was the one who needed the treatment only made things even harder.

Hmmm... Fenris may have instigated the angry mob of Viola's fanboys against Lucas, but his reasons for being there were not to actually do that. It all happened because certain conditions were met. What happened to Rio in the alleyway was actually the same kind of phenomenon.

Your concern on any sort of craziness happening in the story due to something Renegade-related is very interesting. I'm doing mental gymnastics on this one. Did it happen because a Renegade's latent abilities instigate it, or is it because of something we can all do as humans? Personally, I think it's nice to speculate on the possibilities because in the story, any sort of ample information on the Renegades is generally unknown to the public and there has yet to be any sort of official records related to it. Makes me know that the Renegades are doing well in keeping a low-profile. The farthest the general public can know is that they exist and that's about it. Perhaps you should judge it by weighing the scales down on if this was something we can all do as people or if it was so strange that it happened because of supernatural activity.

I'd just say Mr. Faust's accent makes your ears fawn over his voice. Nothing out of this world with that one. XD

Lastly, I'm glad you enjoyed Lucas' interaction with both Viola and the trench coat student (god, his title did not roll off the tongue so weird when I first wrote it). As much as possible, I want to try to make my character interaction humanely believable like they truly have come to life. Such a thing is easier said than done though so I hope to find ways to improve myself in the long run.
