Don't worry about it. My (personal) problem with Harry Potter is that I don't like how if you're a student and your name isn't "Harry", "Ron", or "Hermione" your contribution to the narrative is almost nonexistent. That's not a stab against her style or the quality of the series (like I could "talk down" to J.K. Rowling of all people, lmao) it's just an aspect of the series that I personally dislike. Part of my intention in writing this story is that all the students (well, the ones in the Stars Cohort anyway) are doing their own things and growing just like the "main" characters, hence why the Chess Games arc had some focus on minor characters to remind that they're more than just there to fill seats.
That's not me trying to say mine is better, just that I think I'm doing something that I found lacking in her work.
Though I can definitely see how my statement would give that idea.😅
