Maybe this is cuase I left such a gap between chapter 1 and 2 but what time period is this?😅.

You mention everyday use, USBs so it most be modern enough - Possibly a posh British school with boating and badminton?
Well except that the rules, culture and honourifics are Japanese styled - I'm not too well versed in real world Japan so maybe I'm just being dumb lol😅 - Anywho, this somewhere spieicific or a county/world of your own devising?😊👍

Other then my GPS confusion, a good chapter - The teachers have character and some of the humour is pretty good fun😊👍.

Nothing wrong with that😁 - I wrote and 'Ode to fallen Nemo' and then Litterally watched 86 the next week - The thematic comparisons are upsetting😂😂😂😂.

But more seriously genre writing is great - I love seeing people take an old story and build upon it as tho in a never ending conversation with all the authors who came before our time - If your ever looking for the master of this, Terry Pratchett's work is 100% unique and ingenuous while also by his own admission being 100% Heavily Shakesphere inspired😂😂.
