Hi there,
This is the former home of my fiction - Unfortunately from drama, to a lack of innovation - To bugs that made the site unusable to me - My books are no longer being hosted here on here.

This in mind I'm leaving this note here to let people with an interest know you can find all my works in updated versions over on RoyalRoad & ScribbleHub - With plans for other releases yet to come.

For more info you can check out the final chapters of either 'UnderCurrent' or 'The Girl He Used to Know' - Which both depict my odd journey with this website😅.
HoneyFeed had its merits, it got me some feedback & I made some good friends here - But it is in effect the training wheels of web-noveling sites - If you are even slightly serious about your art or simply want a website that will teach you proper formatting & has an actual userbase - Then do yourself a favour, take off the training wheels & seek out the website that is right for you😊.

Chapter Notes;

So I went on a bit of a walk to properly flesh out my vision for this series.

My goal is to write a short novella as per the monthly challenge - That takes place over 12 'Episodes' (Each consisting of 2 - 3 parts of hopefully no more than 1500 words).

I intend to release these 'episodes' every two (or atleast every couple of days) - As such you'll get two releases every 2 days on average (though today your getting three as Episode one has a lot to establish😉😊).

I'm really happy to see this already get some support and feedback, it really means alot so thanks a million to anyone who read and please leave a like if you want to let me know if your enjoying it😊.

Criticism is as always welcome especially since this is my first time writing something with so little prep.

I actually think the army thing would be really easy to fix in the context of this book.

First I'd more heavily lampshade that this is Just an Elite force, Not their main force - And then I'd simplify the ranks.

Have it be simply 'Soldier/enlisted > Squadron Leader > Vice Captain/ Vice commander > Captain/Commander.

That way the small size of the group would make sense, their eilte quality would explain there discipline and the less defined ranks would be less obviously wierd for readers with knowlage like mine.

Oh wow I love how Sano is addressing the brutal murder of fantasy species in this book and how the gang are having an adult conversation about, heck this refers back to our conversation on deconstruction an-- OH GOD THEY'VE STARTED GUNNING DOWN THE LOCAL GOONS WITH MODA-FRIGGIN RIFLES WITH OUT AS MUCH AS A WORD OF WARNING. JEBUS, MARY AND THE LITTLE DONKEY ITS A MASACAR!!!!!!

I think you might benefit from using something like 'The wheel of Time' as a reference.
I've only read a couple of the books in that series but for chapter lengths it could be useful as Robert Jordan was a fan of both very long chapters and very short ones. For example this chapter should be 3 chapters.
Quite simply when you have pause breaks that cut to entirely unrelated locations, then you've got a problem.
It feels kinda like your writing a screenplay in that sense - like each chapter is 'an episode' rather then a scene.
Don't be afraid for your lengths to vary, flow is deravied in large part by chapter length - Having everything the same long length gives the book a somewhat drawn out feeling.

Heck could Tommy get reincarnated as we saw and then get summoned to say King Regis world?
Could king Regi get isekaied to Tommy's world or is it always young nobody's rather then royalty?
Could there even be a different version of TOAL out there?!
